Kaitlyn Hagan is a doctoral candidate pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Alliant University. She has experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and families in community mental health and pediatric hospital settings, including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
Kaitlyn works with children experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, emotional and behavioral challenges, family stress, and learning differences. She believes every child has unique strengths and strives to create a space where children feel safe, understood, and supported. Her goal is to help children build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges with resilience.
Kaitlyn’s approach is warm, collaborative, and developmentally informed. Drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed perspectives, she partners closely with caregivers to support meaningful growth both in and outside of therapy. In addition to providing therapy, she has experience conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments to help families better understand their child’s cognitive, academic, emotional, behavioral, developmental, and social strengths and needs. Kaitlyn is supervised by Dr. Chrystal Maher, Licensed Clinical Psychologist PSY23065.
